Julia has 33 years of social work experience in Residential Care, Child Protection, Youth Offending, Adoption & Fostering, CAMHS and the Voluntary Sector.
She worked for BAAF for seven years as a Consultant Trainer and is the Independent Chair of three Adoption Panels and three Foster Panels.
She delivers training to Social Workers, Foster Carers, Contact Officers and other Children’s Services staff across the UK.
Julia is a registered Social Worker(CQSW & MSW), Group Worker (Certificate of Groupwork) and Counsellor (Post-Grad Diploma).
Her parents are retired foster carers so she is a very old ‘child who fostered’.
